From past few months I was seeing a lot of Jibhi pictures all over social platforms.
I searched about that place gathered info and found that this might be the place I was looking for the Christmas completely away from the crowd and in the laps of mountains.
Without any further waiting, I quickly decided to book my tickets for Jibhi and started to pack.
Jibhi is a hidden paradise in the Banjar Valley of Kullu District, Himachal Pradesh. Beas River flowing on the side accompanied by mountains is the perfect place to drive by.

Finally,
The day has come.
At night, I boarded my bus till Aut which will drop just before the tunnel. Aut tunnel is one of the longest tunnels of India. about 2.8km long built on Chandigarh Manali national highway.
From there shared taxis are available which will take to Jibhi. It’s about 1.5 -2 hrs from Aut to reach Jibhi passing via Sharai, Sidhwan and Banjar.

Day 1-Jibhi

Jibhi
First Glimpse of Jibhi

It was the feeling of joy which I have imagined it would be as soon as I stepped to the Jibhi.
After a cold night at Bus, I decided to have some rest at the Jibhi Camps and Cottages. The people are warm hearted, always ready to help. The Himachali dogs always excites with their cuteness.

At afternoon went to Mud House Hostels to chill. A place which is on everyone’s list in Jibhi. A company of passionate people and a cool environment.I also wanted to do the Trout Fishing but for that have to come around April to October to witness this.
Jibhi Waterfall is not far from Mud House.
Directly left for Waterfall but before that had a small hike towards the upper villages.

The Jibhi Waterfall is inside the forest which cannot be seen from the roads
2-3 min. walk and there are small bridges over the stream which was flowing down from the waterfall. The water is body freezing because of the weather conditions. It was very refreshing.
Spent some time near the Jibhi waterfall.
Head back to the Hotel before it turned dark because someday street lights work well and someday not. The star gazing night with the mix of music is a perfect moment to be in.
Had my dinner and went to sleep with the thought that tomorrow will be going to be a memorable day.

Day is here!!
Waked up early in the morning had my breakfast and got ready for the trek.

Jalori Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 10,800ft. I knew that this was going to be an adventurous one and proved too.

The temperature at that time was about 2-3 degrees during the day and it falls down to minus 5-6 degrees in the nights. The breeze was blowing and the views were breathtaking. It was a goosebumps moment.
As soon as the trek begins I got encountered with the snow. Actually, full of snow surrounded by thick oak trees.
The destination is as beautiful as the journey. Got to see the snow-covered mountains, the great Himalayan national park, and the Shrikhand Mahadev.
Faced some ups and downs but that’s what life is, keep going and working hard and the end result will surprise you.
The feeling was amazing.

I witnessed Sunrise in Jibhi and Sunset at Jalori pass. It was an amazing feeling. The trek is about 5-6 km and took about 2-3hrs to reach ideally.
Got back to the hotel around 7 p.m. The legs aren’t painting because it’s not my first time but the body needs a little bit of rest.
Enjoyed Bonfire. Ate my dinner and hover over the bed for a sleep.

Day 3 Jibhification

The peace and silence always give pleasure to the mind and body and I can sit there the whole day. I mean it’s that kind of day where no disturbance from people and phone can distract.
The day was sunny and right pointing me on the head. What could be more magical than that, cold winters and the bright sunny day? Pure magical to be honest.
The day was Left to explore the cafes and foods.
I came across Rollers and Paddlers, Jungle valley, Shiva café. The food at Jungle valley was delicious. I missed out on trying  Siddu bad luck for now. It was an unusual, unexplored and unknown place just ended up knowing everything.
