Day – 2 of Goa Itinerary for 3 days
Day – 2 will be going to be funfilled as well.
Not a tired exploration, but I would say a special one for sure.
For this day, I would recommend you rent a two-wheeler. If by chance you are staying somewhere around Arambol.
The Arambol to Old Goa distance is 50 km approx.
OR
Alike, Panjim to Old Goa distance is 10 km approx.
On the other hand, if you want to travel by bus, you can get a local Goa bus from Mapusa to Panjim to Old Goa.
The only reason that I had mentioned a two-wheeler, particularly for this day, is that I don’t want you to miss any of the ongoing points.
And they were eventually stopping while on the way to Old Goa.
Furthermore, Old Goa would be a new place for you aside from the beaches & you would like to utilize your every hour of the day productive there.
But the direction to Old Goa is damn pretty, crossing the bridge and a lot of awe-inspiring places.
The streets of Old Goa will make you feel energetic because of the pretty tones.
If you’re proceeding from the northernmost portion of Goa like Arambol. You will get to cross two bridges –
- One from Mapusa towards Panjim
- Another from Panjim towards Old Goa
Parking Spots Outside the Old Goa Churches
There is plenty of space available to park your two-wheeler outside the Goa churches.
Especially when you’re visiting on the weekends, the availability of space outside might become an issue for you. The Old Churches attracts a lot of visitors, including international tourists.
So, make sure to leave early in that case.
There are plenty of markets in the surroundings, & don’t forget to buy Cashew Nuts from Goa.
The Cashew Nuts had become the best thing to buy in Goa to take back as a memory. Try the Colored ones!

1.Se Cathedral
The Se Cathedral Church is the only church where I had spent a lot of time inside.
I had attended Churches on just a handful of occasions in Delhi.
So, during my visit to the Se Cathedral Church. I was sitting & admiring the interior architecture of the church.
Since it was the day of Christmas, the Churches were enhanced wonderfully on the day of Christmas.
For your information, if you hadn’t attended a church before – There are no entrance fees to visit the church.
Furthermore, the churches in Old Goa are within several minutes of walking distance from each other.
So you can park your two-wheeler at one corner & can explore the Old Goa churches.
