Travelling became an essential aspect of my life. In other words, creating travel content became a critical aspect of my life—for that, I love to travel.
Solo Travel came into my life in my early 20’s, when I used to travel with a backpack and a borrowed camera to take pictures.

When I was Extensively Travelling
In 2019, I developed a deep interest in Travel and wanted to experience living in a particular place for a more extended time.
Then, I visited and stayed in Bir Billing almost 2 months volunteering in a hostel. Volunteering involves interaction with the guests and clicking property pictures.
I explored the place extensively and enjoyed it, but a question hit my mind—what next?
Soon, I started feeling boredom, and nothing new happening. So I started looking for other volunteering opportunities.
That’s when an opportunity in Goa came up. I felt utterly content knowing I could continue visiting new places without spending much money.
During my time there, I explored North Goa thoroughly and even managed to see a bit of South Goa too.
Everything appeared like a dream.
But, after a month, I felt stuck, and again, a realization hit—what next?
Thereafter, I went home and decided to look for permanent jobs.
That’s when I realized there needs to be a balance between travel and work—something sustainable, something that keeps both sides of me alive.
Fast forward to now, I’ve continued balancing work and travel. But deep down, I’ve always wanted to be a full-time travel content creator—a dream I still strive for and work towards every single day. Life, however, seems to have its own plans for me.
5 Things I surely do When I’m not travelling?
1. Working Out and Self Care
Working Out and taking care of my body started fascinating me during the COVID days. I used to work in the morning and a mix of Yoga and some weight training at home in the evening. Primarily, I do have a pair of dumbbells, a kettlebell, and a yoga mat.
However, I continued that routine for a longer time.
After switching my job from marketing to a more creative role—photographer and videographer, I had to start being physically present in the office. That’s when I lost touch with my home workout routine.
Later, I joined Cult classes and really started enjoying working out in a group. I especially try not to miss my weekend workouts — I make sure to put in a lot of effort during those days.
On weekdays, I still exercise, but because I reach home at odd hours, I usually stick to cardio and skip weight or strength training.
Earlier, I don’t value self care. But sooner, I realized as you grow older and older your body demands your more attention than ever to keep going.
Thus, self care is utmost important.
2. Working on my blog
Honestly, I started the blog because I wanted to express myself about the places I visited. Moreover, I felt that I didn’t look good, therefore, I chose to write.
But, years later I realized, I was failing to give my blogs a human touch—I connect with “who’s running this awesome blog”!
The person who always stayed behind the camera now started to come in front eventually.
3. Editing Photos and Videos
Editing photos has been an integral part of my life, ever since I started writing my blogs.
I edit my photos in Photoshop and Lightroom. However, I learned to edit by myself and give a lot of importance to visual storytelling.
After working on photos extensively—2 years back, I got a fascination for videos and started video editing too. And, that’s where another skill arose and I also love expressing through stunning travel videos.
4. Going to a Job
Working on myself and my blog is half the story. The rest half I spent on going to a day job. I’ve been working in the creative videography & photography field for almost 3 years. During the COVID days, I used to work as a digital marketer, where I ran ads, and performed SEO activities.
I think you get the gist of what made me continue to blog—whatever I learned in my job, I applied on my blog.
It’s not hard to begin — it’s hard to keep going.
5. Time Management
Time management has played a very important role in my life. If I haven’t managed it well—trust me. I hadn’t visited this many places and not even blogged about them.
I make a flexible schedule and try my best to complete it within the time frame.
Even when I’m travelling, I try to make use of my time by learning something new or writing a blog. Sometimes, it does get tough to use that time productively — and I understand that not every day will be the same. I’ve learned to accept that.
And that sums up the five most important things I focus on when I’m not travelling.
