Places to Visit in Udaipur in 2 Days During Daytime
Straightforwardly, I want to portray my sight to you how I saw Udaipur. Consequently, I spent plenty of time in the places mentioned below to provide an efficient outcome.
Further, I have expressed my viewpoints.
1. Gangaur Ghat in the Morning
Can you recall? At the beginning of the article, I expressed that “the highlight of my trip was Gangaur Ghat.”
Reason? Because I visited the Ghat multiple times and attempted to see the surroundings differently every time.
Merely awake and commence moving towards Gangaur Ghat.
Mornings are especially the best to spend your time outdoors.
Outdoors specifically, at the Gangaur Ghat. Eventually, it can become your best place to visit Udaipur in 2 days.
But, reaching the Gangaur Ghat and coming back in minutes is not enough for a satisfactory morning experience. Indeed, think spending time, you can do activities you adore, for example:
- Photoing
- Sitting near the Pichola Lake Side
- Watching Pigeons Eating
- Feeding Pigeons
That way, you will appreciate your time spend and make it extraordinary.
What I did at Gangaur Ghat?
I photographed the Gangaur Ghat mainly. But, I took the time to decide how I wanted to approach and show the surroundings first and then began to snap.
I spent approximately 1 – 1:30hrs on both the days there, in the morning and evening.
2. Reflection View from Gangaur Ghat
Woohoo!
Viewing reflections is one of my favorite things to do near the lakeside.
The planet looks so pleasing from the reflection perspective.
Though, I consider Viewing Morning Reflections as a separate and unique activity that additionally demands your time.
There are numerous establishments near the lakeside when you see it from Gangaur Ghat.
Additionally, you can view the flying bird’s reflection smoothly. As far as you can see, the lake will appear undoubtedly clear.
In addition, it doesn’t cost anything to see that beautiful viewpoint! So, therefore, take your time.
3. Udaipur White City from Top
When you are in Rajasthan, I can feel that you fancy seeing the Jodhpur Blue City and the Rajasthan White City, aka Udaipur, from an elevated position.
Therefore, you can consider going to Karni Mata temple to see the Udaipur White City.
Interestingly, let me tell you how I reached Karni Mata temple:
- Early morning, I told my friend to leave someplace.
- At the reception, the individual suggested going to Karni Mata temple.
- After walking for a few minutes, I asked a person to guide us in the direction to proceed.
- A Bike person passing by heard the conversation and offered us to drop as he was also going to the Karni Mata temple.
- On the Bike, it took around 20 mins approximately to reach the base point.
- Phew! I decided we would walk on this journey; if that happened, it would have taken at least 1:30 – 2hrs to reach.
So, that remained an unusual moment because you wouldn’t find not many people dropping you someplace without any cost.
Karni Mata temple reminds me of going to Mata Vaishno Devi, as you must step up the inclining stairs.
Undoubtedly, you will view the White City of India from the top.
In addition, you can also enjoy a ropeway ride to Karni Mata temple and vice-versa.
I arrived at the temple before 8 a.m.
And the ropeway opens at 9a.m; straightforwardly, I reached pretty earlier.
Nevertheless, walking holds its importance.
4. Bahubali Hills
I didn’t get to know about Bahubali Hills if I didn’t desire an extraordinary place to visit in Udaipur.
Bahubali Hills stands a little far away from central Udaipur city.
Road Condition to Bahubali Hills
The road to Bahubali Hills is immensely satisfactory. Though don’t do reckless driving.
But why should you Visit Bahubali Hills?
If you infrequently say Whoo-Hoo!
Then you have to visit Bahubali Hills as there you will get a gigantic reason to say that slang expressions and many more terms allow you to express yourself willingly.
Specifically, the sceneries from the Hilltop deserve a Whoo-Hoo!
Moreover, the Stunning Badi Lake will remain next to the Bahubali Hills.Â
5. The Greenside of Udaipur
There’s not only the White that will attract you but, additionally, you can see the Green of Udaipur.
You will doubtlessly see the Blue shades of the Udaipur lakes from the Gangaur Ghat, but you have to go to Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace to see the Green in the majority.
That Palace remains present in the opposite direction of Bahuabli Hills.
Are there any Entrance Fees to Monsoon Palace?
Aye! You must pay the entry fees of Rs—95 per person to visit the Monsoon Palace. Plus, if you are traveling by a Two-wheeler as I did, you have to pay Rs. 45 additional for parking.
The ticket house to the Monsoon Palace distance is approximately 5-6km incline.
As it says,
Hence, you will witness the Greenery on one side and the other, beautiful Udaipur White City.
But don’t anticipate anything extraordinary apart from the scenery.
Besides, it would help if you carried your food and water.
So, these are the places to visit in Udaipur in 2 days during the daytime. Likewise, I did!
In addition, I would like to spotlight a few dining places I visited in Udaipur at night.
Places to Eat in Udaipur at Night
Night’s are more Dhin-Chak in Udaipur than daytime.
But don’t consider going to Palaces or Hilltop during the night. Unfortunately, though, that remains closed at night!
Indeed, the mouth-watering place to eat at nighttime is what I intended to tell.
A. Kitchens Of Mewar Restaurant
I ate at Kitchens of Mewar Restaurant twice.
While Googling a place to eat, I figured out we must try dining at the Kitchens of Mewar.
If you love seeing Google reviews and the meal’s quality, you will undoubtedly visit again.
The quantity and quality of food were good. In addition, the ambiance and lighting were pleasing!
Straightforward, that’s a fine place for a lake view dining experience.
B. RC Soda Shop and Drinks
I haven’t visited any place that often, not even Gangaur Ghat, as I went to RC Soda Shop and Drinks.
Though I can approximately tell, I visited that Soda Shop 6-7 times.
And, every time I passed that lane, Soda Shop remained the preference to visit.
Also, in the daytime, we used to go places in the heated sun in Udaipur, which will unquestionably make us dehydrated.
One afternoon, when I returned from Bahubali Hills, I became so dehydrated that I filled the Soda in my bottle. Honestly, I consumed the entire bottle in about 1-2 hours.
Accordingly, I tasted all the flavors of Soda. Haha!
So, the two mentioned above are the places to visit in Udaipur at night that I wanted to underline.
Nighttime is the most suitable to move out in Udaipur. But are you planning to visit Udaipur in April?
Udaipur Trip Cost for 2 Days?
I felt that Udaipur is not a high-priced city.
Further, the food, stay, and traveling around is reasonable.
- Food – If you are not a food fanatic, a decent full day’s meal will cost you less or even much lower than Rs.700 per person.
- Stay – A night in Hostel will cost you around Rs.250-350 per person.
- Travel around: City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Gangaur Ghat, Fatehsagar Lake, and Pichola Lake remain at a walkable distance. But it will benefit if you rent a scooty for distant locations like Bahubali Hills and Monsoon Palace. The Scooty Rent will be Rs. 400-500 per day.
So, the Udaipur trip cost for 2 days will be roughly Rs. 5000 approximately.
Hurray!
That ends 2 days in Udaipur, but I am confident that if you have enjoyed 2 days, you will surely return to Udaipur sometime.
